Comments:  In July of 2008, Finnair repainted its Airbus A319-112 OH-LVE (msn 1791) "Silver Bird" in the retrojet 1953 colors of Finnair/Finnish Airlines. OH-LVE prepares to land at London (Heathrow). Finnair was originally founded as Aero O/Y by Bruno Lucander in 1923. The first flight operated on March 20, 1924 from Helsinki to Tallinn, Estonia with a Junkers F.13 with floats. In 1953, the name Finnair was adopted as the airline's main name.
